Goals completed

Written by Allgäu at 10:57 15/7-2014

Team Allgäu is happy to announce the following goals are completed:
  - Falk Jung (AV 51) and Wilfried Ostheim (AV 48) are fully trained
  - Gleisenberg (AV 54) has been sent to a TT centre and is ready for top form

Having 5 very strong riders now, we are searching for a 6th to complete the squad. It is very probable that we are going to train our own rider because simply buying one from the transfer market is
  - too expensive at the moment
  - not much fun

What type of rider we are looking for? Probably a flat road specialist with good climbing abilities to balance the team's strength. But maybe we find a good sprinter so we have another lead out? Or a good climber for being more flexible in the types of races we compete in? We will see...

We signed Meinhard Bäumling. He has the potential to be the strongest german flat road specialist and will certainly be a good leadout (or maybe more)

Agree with you, much more fun to train your own riders. (Like that all off them is from one nation too). Keep up the good work, good luck with rider nr 6.
